The opening is arresting rather than subtle: grapefruit and bergamot bring a bright citrus lift, while cardamom and saffron add a warm, spicy glow. From there it deepens into its heart, where rose and oud weave together with jasmine, lavender and nutmeg: the oud resinous and smoky, the rose deep and velvety. As it settles, the base takes over with supple leather, warm amber, creamy sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean and soft musk, giving a long, luxurious drydown.
